Vulcan Eclipse offers eclipse dual fuel spiral flame burner is a flat flame, nozzle mixing, sealed burner. Due to its unique construction, the flame follows the contour of the combustion block and surrounding furnace wall with virtually no forward velocity. This permits the burner to be placed close to the workload without producing flame impingement or hot spots in front of the burner and provides uniform heating over a large area. Applications include direct-fired furnaces, forge furnaces, direct and indirect fired heat exchangers, pot furnaces, slat bath furnaces, ladle heating, galvanizing tanks, and many others where high heat uniformity and lack of flame impingement are requirements. These burners are used not only on new furnaces, but to increase work capacity on existing installations. Since workload can be placed proportionately closer to the burners, a greater portion of the furnace chamber can be used. These Burners are available in six sizes with capacities from 40,000 Btu/hr to 3,000,000 Btu/hr on oil firing and 30,000 Btu/hr to 3,000,000 Btu/hr on gas firing. These may be mounted in either furnace roof or walls. To aid block retention, block materials is available reinforced with stainless steel fibres and poured directly in the cast iron holder. Four mounting studs mounted on the holder can be provided additional reinforcement.
