Mica and ceramic heaters

Delhi-based Dovy Electicals manufactures mica and ceramic heaters in strip, strip finned and band heater types. Specially selected mica sheets/ceramic insulators designed for high thermal conductivity and high electrical insulation-resistance are employed to house the resistance coil. Fins can be added to increase the heat transfer efficiency of the strip heaters. Dovy mica/ceramic band heaters are designed to perform at higher operating temperatures providing long efficient service life to units such as plastic extruders, and injection and blow moulding machines. A wide range of sizes, sheath materials and Watt densities is available to suit different industrial applications such as ovens, press, plantens, bag sealers, die and mould heating, and plastic processing machinery. Additional insulation to further minimise heat losses can be built-in accommodating thermocouples and accessories as per user's requirements.
