Ladle/Tundish/Launder Heating Stations

Encon Thermal Engineers has designed and manufactured Ladle Heating Stations of varying capacities up to 300 tonnes/hr. The company pioneered the unique concept of recuperative ladle preheating system to guarantee fuel consumption as low as 1.2 ltr/tonne of ladle capacity heated. It designs and manufactures tundish heating stations of varying capacities up to 200 tonnes/hr. The minimum life of lining guaranteed on these system is one year. In most of the systems the lining supplied by the company lasts as long as 3 years. The company designs ladle/tundish/launder dryers and heating station for virtually any heating capacity. These can be designed as fully automatic systems with PLC systems with automatic firing in which the pre-heaters can be programmed to follow a number of pre-determined heating curves. These systems can be energised by LDO/LPG/HFO/coke oven gas/oxy fuel. Currently the company is supplying these systems to Bhushan Steel, Jindal Steel, Bhillai Steel Plant and Vizag Steel Plant, to name a few of esteemed clients.
