Furnaces

Electrotherm offers Furnaces. It is used for precious metal melting. It offers excellent performance and it is highly reliable. It is manufactured as per international standards. The range includes: 1) Push-out furnace - a highly efficient crucible melting system. After completing melting in a crucible, the entire crucible is pushed-up hydraulically and is taken out for pouring. This avoids heat losses and oxidation during liquid metal transfer from crucible to ladle. The coils are lined with refractory cement to guard against spillage; 2) Lift and Swing Furnace - a very good alternate to push-out furnace as it is installed right on the floor. When charge in the first furnace is melted, the furnace coil assembly is raised and swung into second crucible and starts new melt. The electrical interlock disconnects power when the coil is raised. The coil movement is controlled by a foot valve operating a hydraulic cylinder within the support post; and 3) Roll-over furnace - ideal for investment casting and casting of precious metals where mould is mounted on top of the furnace opening and furnace is upside down to pour directly into the mould. This avoids heat losses and oxidation of liquid metal.
