Compressed air driers

Heatless compressed air drying plants of various flow capacities and working pressure range are manufactured by Sujata Metal Engineering Works, Thane, to suit customers' requirement for removing moisture from the compressed air. The heatless compressed air drying plant works on absorption principle using activated alumina as dessicant (drying agent). Purging a small quantity of dry air, fed back from outlet of the drier during fully automatic regeneration cycle, regenerates the activated alumina. The heatless compressed air drying plant consists of two drying chambers where each works alternatively in adsorption (drying) and regeneration cycle. The plant is also equipped with pre-filters and after-filter to remove solid particles, oil vapours and liquid impurities. The plant is fully automatic, the adsorption, regeneration and re-pressurisation cycle being performed by a set of solenoid valves and a programmed timer. Much less cycle time compared to 'Heat reactivated type drying plants hence malfunctioning of the plant, if occurs is detected and corrected quickly.
