Heatless compressed air drying plants of various flow capacities and working pressure range are manufactured by Sujata Metal Engineering Works, Thane, to suit customers' requirement for removing moisture from the compressed air. The heatless compressed air drying plant works on absorption principle using activated alumina as dessicant (drying agent). Purging a small quantity of dry air, fed back from outlet of the drier during fully automatic regeneration cycle, regenerates the activated alumina. The heatless compressed air drying plant consists of two drying chambers where each works alternatively in adsorption (drying) and regeneration cycle. The plant is also equipped with pre-filters and after-filter to remove solid particles, oil vapours and liquid impurities. The plant is fully automatic, the adsorption, regeneration and re-pressurisation cycle being performed by a set of solenoid valves and a programmed timer. Leak testing of any equipment or piping system Providing dry and clean air for pneumatic systems of general and special purpose machines in engineering industries. Providing dry and clean air for spray painting. Negligible maintenance required due to simple construction hence lesser maintenance cost Package type construction hence no assembling or foundation required at site of installation Longer life of dessicant and no pressure surge in the compressed air supply due to provision of re-pressurisation of drying chambers prior to changeover to drying cycle. No fear of accidentally raising the temperature of compressed air due to Heatless regeneration process. Much less cycle time compared to 'Heat reactivated type drying plants hence malfunctioning of the plant, if occurs is detected and corrected quickly.
