Omega Heat Equipments offers Mica-Plast high quality mica insulated band heaters. These have the following features: stainless steel terminal box offers excellent protection; built-in ceramic fibre insulation 3 mm thick (standard), reduces power consumption by 25% to 30 %, and further saving possible with optional 6 mm insulation; stainless steel housing; and specially designed mounting bracket with 1/4" BSW x 1-3/4" socket head cap screws used to secure heating elements assembly against the barrel evenly and tightly across its entire width located at 180? from the terminal; rust-resistant brass sheathed casing provides a good combination of physical strength, high emissivity and good thermal conductivity; specially selected mica; specific gauge of nickel chrome resistance ribbon wire is evenly space wound to achieve the lowest winding temperatures possible; and lead wire in copper, insulated in fibre glass.
