Omega Heat Equipments offers high power ceramic insulated band heaters with built-in thermal insulation. These have the following features: stainless steel terminal box offers excellent protection; power cable with copper lead insulation in fibre glass with metallic braiding protection; built-in ceramic fibre insulation 3 mm thick (standard), reduces power consumption by 25% to 30 %, and further saving possible with optional 6 or 9 mm insulation; helically wound 80/20 nickel-chrome resistance wire, evenly stretched, results in maximum heater life; high purity steatite ceramic band insulators for heater durability; stainless steel housing with serrated edges provide maximum flexibility for ease of installation; and specially designed mounting bracket with 1/4" BSW x 1-3/4" socket head cap screws used to secure heating elements assembly against the barrel evenly and tightly across its entire width located at 180? from the terminal. Applications are in plastic injection moulding machines; extruders and blow moulding equipment.
