Encon Thermal Engineers designs and manufactures Ovens for various industrial applications of temperatures up to 550°C. These ovens are powered by gas heating elements, which is an indirect method of heating, and hence can be used in various applications. The company has designed, engineered, manufactured and erected the country’s tallest ovens energised by gas heating elements; these ovens are 9.5 metres tall and are installed at AREVA, Bangalore. It has also designed, engineered, manufactured and erected the country’s longest hybrid oven powered by solar energy and gas heating elements. The oven is 160 ft long and is installed at Divya Yog Pharmacy, Haridwar. The temperature variations throughout the oven are a maximum of 2°C. The skin temperatures of these ovens are ambient +10°C. The fuel saving in these ovens varies from 20 to 50% and the typical payback for these ovens are within 8 months. Apart from the above, the company provides ovens to the transformer, pharmaceutical, white goods, electric, foundry, powder coating and automobile industries. These ovens are built according to international standards.
