Innovations Unlimited offers an innovative Electric Furnace, which comes very close to induction heating, is cheap, easy to build, and ideal for all types of heat treatment. This new innovative furnace is offered on a DIY (do it yourself) basis. It is ideal for all kinds of heat treatment of steel bars, for forging, and many engineering functions. The power source is a welding transformer available in the shop, or can be hired out cheaply. The furnace can be built in a day, no Kanthal heaters or 316 SS rods. There is complete temperature control for hardening and tempering, and ceramic blankets or blocks for refractory.
