Worm Gear Screw Jacks/Linear Actuators
Gear & Gear Drives offers worm gear screw jacks and linear actuators for precise positioning. These units are primarily used for lifting or lowering masses in both vertical and horizontal planes. The weight to be lifted is from 250 kg (0.25 tonne) to 150000 kg (50 tonne through various frames of 0.25/0.5T/2.5T/5T/10T/20T/35T/50T/100T/150T. (T indicates tonnage). These units give positive mechanical action; fail proof and precise positioning. The height to be lifted or lowered can be up to 3000 mm. There are two standard speeds available viz., normal lift and slow lift. The housing/shell is made of steel casting from 5 tonne and above. There are two types viz: lifting screw rod with the stationary head, (translating screw), rotating screw rod and moving nut with two further design possibilities of design A (upward) and design (B) downward. These can be used on sideways or angular ways also. Additional accessories: anti-turn device; anti backlash attachment; wear monitoring unit; telescopic lifting screws; gearbox; bellows and protective pipes.
