Parallel Shaft – Extruder-Duty Helical Gearbox

In less than twenty years Gyrox Gears Industries has successfully established itself as a reliable supplier of dependable drives for mechanical transmission of power. At present the range of drives manufactured are in following types: planetary, helical, worm, bevel, epicyclic and their combinations and derivatives. In series “EH” extruder-duty PHWB gearbox, there is a provision of a thrust bearing of ample capacity to take radial load and axial thrust of extruder screw. Available range: duty – standard and heavy duty models available; power transmitted – 2.0 HP to 75.0 HP @ 1000 RPM input-speed; ratios – 6:1, 13:1 and 20:1; screw dia – 40 mm to 120 mm max; shank dia – 35 mm to 110 mm; bore diameter D and key size “K” as per client’s requirement; lubricating media is oil which is splashed from sump; and for gearboxes where temperature is higher, additional water cooling can be provided.
