Gear Shaving-Cutting Machines

CMH Tools offers Gear Shaving-Cutting Machines. These are solutions for to do hobbing, shaving, and double flank inspection using master gears. Shaving cutters are manufactured as per BS: 2007. Cutters are offered to do shaving using conventional, diagonal, plunge and under pass methods. Master gears of spur and helical types are manufactured to quality grade 3, DIN 3962 for checking cylindrical gears of quality 5 to 7 DIN 3962, quality 4 DIN 3962 for checking cylindrical gears of quality 8 and coarser. The above tools are manufactured using state of the art CNC machines for profile grinding, serrating and inspection. Re-sharpening of shaving cutters and re-profiling of master gears of all variety are also under taken with a short turn around time.
