Voltas Ltd offers Gear Shaping Machine from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan. Model ST25CNC is a flexible model that offers a few key benefits in addition to those available in traditional CNC gear shaping machines which require helical guide for each helical angle. The features include: i) No helical guide - helical gears of any angle can be handled by simply setting the helix angle on the NC program. This enables to save the loss time required for changing the helical guide for every different helix angle; ii) Quick response - a quick response control system has been developed to eliminate the helical guide resulting to a revolutionary drive mechanism; and, iii) High productivity - maximum spindle speed of 1000 strokes per minute and the high rotary feed rate of 5.3 m/min makes high productivity possible.
