Double row spindle bearings: single row spindle bearings, such as the Type "USS", are usually mounted as back-to-back pairs ("DB" or "O"). UKF's "USO" bearings are an ideal alternative to single bearings, because both races are ground in one operation. The increased ball-track parallelism results in higher accuracy and speed. Similarly, designs that use three single row bearings (TBT) are disadvantaged by two mechanical interfaces; an "USO" and tandem "USS" share only one, for superior performance.
