Gear Unit, Infinitely Variable

Swati Pulley offers variable gears from Berges of Germany. This is a compact, reliable and maintenance free mechanical variable speed geared unit. In this modular system, the proven Berges double pulley drive with a wide V-belt is integrated in a die-cast aluminium symmetrical housing. This design range offers numerous possibilities, from modular assembly of a wide variety of drive elements to a ready to fit compact variable gear unit. The variety of mounting possibilities and the clear system principle puts the choice in the user's hands. Spindle and angle adjustment controls with disc type or scale hand wheels as well as hydraulic electrical remote controls are available for speed adjustments. Three phase motors and reduction gears of all types with connections in accordance to IEC can be mounted directly both in 'U' and in 'Z' configurations. These variable speed drives are available for motor power rating from 0.37 kW up to 160 kW. The use of high-grade materials and lubrication free technology makes these drives virtually indestructible and maintenance free.
