With the introduction of the new RP breaker, the system now covers a wide range of applications from light cutting through to rough cutting. Chips curl upwards and reduce cutting resistance, resulting in improved surface finishes. The breaker protrusion is highly resistant to wear ever during high-speed machining, delivering stable chip breaking for long periods of time. The inner side of the butterfly protrusion has a steep gradient to improve chip-breaking performance when making small cuts. During copy machining, cutting conditions such as depth of cut, feed rate and cutting speed can vary greatly.
