Pneuflex Inc offers a range of pneumatic industrial clutches and brakes. High tenacity fabric reinforced rubber air tube housed in steel rim is the only moving part in these pneumatic clutches. Compressed air when admitted into the clutch expands the air tube engaging the 360? friction surface at maximum diameter to deliver greatest operating torque. Actuating air tube automatically compensates for friction shoe wear and no adjustment or lubrication is required. Centrifugal force ensures total disengagement the moment pressure is released. Tube is resilient and compensates for parallel or angular misalignment of driving and driven elements. Features: statically and dynamically balanced, highly efficient rugged and reliable, flexible rubber air tube dampens shocks and vibrations, runs years together without maintenance, easy and quick maintenance at minimum cost, and takes more load if needed by increasing air pressure.
