Multi-disc clutch

Multi-disc clutch find application in industrial drives for machines such as textile blow rooms and stenters, paper processing, packaging, wire manufacturing, machine tools, road rollers, winches and hoists, rubber processing, roll fed equipment, switch gear drives, conveyor belts, marine reversing gears, printing machines, colliery equipment, grinding mills, marine auxiliary sets, match box making machinery, plastic machinery and so on . For these equipments Shakti multi-disc clutches can cover the following basic functions: smooth and gradual starting of loads; starting of prime mover to full speed on or no load; engagement and disengagement of drives at will; change in direction of rotation by use of a double acting clutch. These multi-disc operated clutches are available in the following sizes: Single acting clutches from 4 mkg size to 90 mkg size; Same size as above with cone brake; Same size as above on double acting version. As for housings, following versions are available F type; H type; HS type; and housings in special design to customer"s requirements. Shakti multi-disc clutches require very little maintenance if mounted and operated properly. A prolonged excellent performance, and trouble-free maintenance can be obtained.
