Engineering Hindustan offers Wet Type Electromagnetic Clutches and Brakes for machine tools – lathes, milling, drilling, hobbing, boring machines and others. These are available in range: torque range – 20 Nm to 3200 Nm; voltage – 12 V DC/24 V DC/90 V DC; and types – stationary fields, slip ring type, toothed clutches. Applications: clutches and brakes play an important role in torque transmission and they provide a positive and step less control to delicate or high powered machinery. They are mainly used where the change of speed and feed are essential to enhance the efficiency and synchronise the various mechanical movements. These are widely used in metal working machinery, textile machinery, packaging machinery and other applications. The company has developed over 400 types of multi disc clutches and brakes operating on 12, 24 and 90 V DC. The torque carrying capacity ranges from 0.5 kgm to 320 kgm. The clutches and brakes are equivalent to leading international makes like ZF, Ortlinghaus, Stromag, Lenze, Warner, Binder Magnet, Dessau, Heid, Goizper, Ogura, Miki Pulley, Moning Hoff, KEB, other Romanian, Russian, Hungarian and Czech brands and many others. Most fast moving products are offered off the shelf. These products are most commonly used in India and abroad in machine tools manufactured by HMT, Beco, Kirloskar, PMT, Batliboi, Toss, Herbert, Russian, German, Romanian, Swiss makes of machine tools and others.
