Electro Magnetic Clutches

A G Engineers offers an Electro Magnetic Clutch. This clutch is available with and without slip ring. The clutch unit consists of clutch magnet and an armature with armature boss. The armature is provided with springs and gap adjustment screws or spring steel riveted armature, which gives zero backlash operation. The magnet portion is normally fixed on driving unit shaft and the armature is fixed on the shaft of driven unit. Electro magnetic clutch without slip ring has advantages such as spark-less operation, practically no maintenance, no fire hazards, and backlash free torque transmission.
