ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE, TYPE B

Modimaz Engineers manufactures Maxitorq brand Electromagnetic Brakes, Type B (Series "W"). These functions when energised by applying DC voltage to it, are fast and immediate in operation. These come in two parts, one a brake body, which can be fitted on any stationary flat surface and the other moving part is fitted on the rotating item, which is to be braked. This can be a shaft or a pulley or a sprocket, etc. The brake can be supplied with three different mounting options on the output member side. The salient features are, easy to fit, simple installations, high torque durable and temperature stable asbestos free friction lining, rugged and durable design and built to ensure long life, zero-backlash and slotted armature for stability residual torque free release, etc. These are available in various sizes and capacities.
