Disc Type Brakes

Magnetic Separators and Controls offer Disc Type Brakes. These AC/DC disc type failsafe brakes can be directly mounted on the free end side of motor and hence form part and parcel of the motor. These AC three phase electro hydraulic thrustor brakes are self-contained units, with low power consumption, minimum maintenance, and an overload on thrustor that cannot cause damage to the motor. DC Single disc brake magnets for energised to brake application: once a unit is installed there is no need of setting air gap. Armature is available with three springs with gap adjustment screws or spring steel riveted armature gives zero backlash operation. The other products available are AC/DC single disc brakes, shoe type AC/DC brakes and electro hydraulic thrustor operated shoe brakes.
