Ashok Iron Works is into the manufacture of timing gear cases, gearboxes, flywheels, clutch housings, brake drums, from 30 kg to 75 kg per piece. The company also manufactures wheel hubs and heavy-duty brake drums weighing up to 64 kg for the auto sector. For the farm equipment sector the company manufactures transmission cases, clutch housings, brake drums, cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, hydraulic lift body and hub front wheel. For the diesel engine technology the company makes cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, flywheels, flywheel housings from 20 kg to 3000kg per piece, crankshaft machining (3 cylinder to 16 cylinder and from 70 to 1000 kg per piece), water pumps and oil pump assemblies. The manufacturing facilities of the company include foundries and machine shops, which machine over 60 per cent of the castings manufactured to fully finished condition. According to the company, it is one of the very few foundries, which is QS-9000 certified.
