Emco Lenze, an ISO 9002 certified company for brakes and clutches, has introduced a self-adjusting-self-notifying AC fail safe brake with torque rating from 30-140 Nm. These brakes feature an exclusive automatic adjustment device that eliminates the major cause of the brake maintenance, adjustment to compensate for friction liner wear. This feature makes these self-adjusting, self-notifying brakes ideal for remote or inaccessible locations, and for applications where rapid cycling requires frequent resetting of torque on adjustable brakes. Automatic adjustment happens every time the brake is operated, eating the errors that occur with hand adjustment. The self-adjustment device also compensate for lining expansion care to best generated by rapid stop-start applications. In addition to this brake Type 5000 is also available with wear indication facility (WIF). This informs by way of light in the control panel, when the liner needs to be changed.
