Automotive Compressor Based Air Conditioners

S K Dynamics Pvt Ltd has developed a marvellous solution for Air Conditioners. The solution comprises of BLDC motor being used as a prime mover with a high life automotive compressor instead of conventional compressor. The BLDC motor is controlled by a DSP which enables the system to deliver high efficiency and has significantly lower power consumption. It is estimated that with-in short span of 2 years, this air conditioner will payback it’s investment cost in form of electricity savings. The DSP controlled variable speed operation allows the air conditioner to have variable tonnage from 0.7 T to 1.2 T. This allows for only required energy being used to maintain set temperature that too in a better way. The soft start with slow acceleration allows the unit to operate on 1 kW home inverter at reduced power. Active power factor correction maintains the PF above 95%. Other high efficiency products include BLDC motor based ceiling and exhaust fans, BLDC servo motors and controls, switched reluctance motors and control and BLDC motor with integrated DSP control.
