Air Amplifiers

This air amplifier takes energy from a small volume of compressed air to produce a high velocity, high volume, low-pressure output airflow. It is quiet, efficient and can amplify flows up to 20 times their input air consumption rate. Features: the air amplifier is made of zinc alloy for strength and light weight; high airflow amplification; and instant On/Off with no moving parts, no electricity or explosion hazard. Benefits: longer life in difficult environments than other models; lower compressed air consumption than ejectors and venturi"s; and maintenance free with output easily controlled, safe to use. Specifications: the air amplifier is available in five standard outlet (outside) diameters - 3/4" (19 mm), 1-1/4" (31 mm), 2" (51 mm), 4" (101 mm) and 8" (200 mm). It come with a standard .002" (.05 mm) shim to control the compressed air exit gap, which will work for 90% of all applications encountered. If greater force is required, more .002" (.05 mm) shims or a .003" (.08 mm) shim may be installed to open the gap for greater flow. Applications: replaces fans, used for blow-off, cleaning, drying, cooling and conveying. Examples: automotive - removes water, coolant, dust, and scrap in parts manufacturing/assembly operations; and cools enamel and water based paints in parts manufacturing, auto body shops or assembly lines; Bottling - Blows off water from the tops of cans, bottles prior to labelling, ink jetting, palletising or packaging, and conveying light materials.
