RH Humidity & Temperature Transmitter, X’Bee Wireless

Katlax Enterprises Pvt Ltd – Controller and Instrumentation Group (CIG) – has launched a RH and Temperature Transmitter, now available with X’Bee wireless connectivity. It uses ASIC chip as a RH and temperature measurement device. X’bee is a low cost, low power, wireless mesh network standard. The low cost allows the technology to be widely deployed in wireless control and monitoring applications. It has accuracy 0.6 % for temperature and 3% for RH. Range of device is 0 to 100% RH and 0 to 100°C. This unit has a local Seven Segment display and it transmits 0-10 V DC/4 to 20 mA. It can control 2 temperature (temperature lower and temperature higher) and 2 humidity (%RH lower and higher) set points. The unit is available in various supply voltage options, i.e., 230 V AC/12 V DC/24 V DC, etc. It has range up to 50 to 60 metre indoor and 1 km for outdoor applications. It has wide applications in clean rooms. The company manufactures a range of sensors, pressure transducers, humidity and temperature transmitters, sensors connectors and cable assemblies, indicators and controllers. It has accreditations by ANAB, UK, Tested for intrinsically safe (Ex) and weather proof construction (IP-67) by CMRI (now CIMFR) Dhanbad; tested for IEC standards by ERTL (W) Mumbai; registered with BIS, DGFASLI & CCOE (now PESO), Nagpur; and certified for CE, UL listed, product certified for UL (USA) & cUL (Canada), CE (complying with European countries/standards).
