Munters India Humidity Control offers a Humidity Control Unit, DryCool (DOAS). By controlling humidity one can prevent indoor mould growth and damage to building structure. DryCool (DOAS) make overcooling unnecessary, enabling energy cost reduction and more comfortable customers in environments such as restaurants and theatres. The unit utilises a packaged refrigeration system, in conjunction with an active titanium silica gel desiccant wheel. The DryCool (DOAS) is cost-effective because all the energy required for regeneration of the desiccant wheel is recycled from the condenser waste heat. The system is integrally designed and controlled for superior performance in even the highest humidity load conditions. Benefits: provides substantially improved indoor air quality; avoids cool and reheat; controls humidity during full load; part load and unoccupied periods; allows independent control of temperature and humidity; provides very high energy efficiency; and optimises the refrigeration based air conditioning and desiccant based dehumidification performance.
