Creation Cooling Towers offers Wet cooling tower. In a wet cooling tower, water comes directly into contact with the ambient air and cooling is achieved mainly by evaporative process in which a small portion of water gets converted to vapour, thus carrying away the latent heat of evaporation. In addition, the air gets heated up by carrying away some sensible heat from the hot water. This is suitable for industries - chemicals, plastics, power plants pharmaceuticals and others; equipments - air conditioners, generators, transformers and others. Atmospheric wind wet cooling tower (natural/fan less induced draft): can be closely located to the plant and buildings as there is no drift problem; no efficiency loss due to re-circulation of hot air discharge from top of tower at considerable height; fire risk is comparatively less; no operational (running) cost is involved; minimum approach is 4.5?C; and considerable height enables close grouping of towers. Mechanical draft wet cooling tower: initial investment is less; more flexible in view of multiple cell construction; tower can be designed even with higher design WBT; and close approaches to wet bulb temperature are achievable. Cross flow wet cooling tower - require smaller cell size; offers less resistance to airflow; can be operated with higher air velocities; require lesser horsepower for comparable outputs. Counter flow wet cooling tower - lower maintenance; lower pumping head; lower biological attack; more efficient; and can operate with lower approach.
