Timber cooling tower

The non-metallic, corrosion proof FRP cooling towers from Canara Engineers, Mumbai, are uniquely designed, engineered and manufactured for high performance reliability, durability and trouble free operation. The chemically treated pinewood columns, chords and diagonals are bolted to form a rigid structure and the slots are accurately machined on vertical columns to hold louvers at proper angle. The chemically treated pinewood louvers are slip fit into the grooves of vertical posts. Bolts, nuts and washers are of MS that is hot dip galvanized and all nails and screws are of SS. Bolts, nuts and washers are optionally provided. The basin floor is of treated timber or marine plywood as per IS: 710 standards. Bottom supports and side planks of the basin are of treated pinewood and a sealing compound is used for preventing any leakage. An FRP basin and accessories such as ladder, platform with railing, walkway and fittings in case of RCC basin are optionally available.
