Air Cooling Unit

Krishi Enterprise offers Coolair, an Air Cooling Unit moulded in FRP. This is a combination of two units: circulating fan and water atomizer, both mounted on a flange cum foot mounted motor having shaft extended at both ends. The motor is mounted horizontally on a supporting stand. At one end of the shaft a circulating fan is mounted and at the other end a circular disc is fixed. Both rotate with the motor shaft. Surrounding the disc a number of teeth are fixed on a specially designed holder, which is fixed on motor body. When water is fed on to the inside surface of the rapidly revolving disc it spreads out thinly due to centrifugal force. Striking the teeth with terrific impact maximum amount of water is broken into fine particles and evaporates. The remaining little amount of water is drained out. Working on the principles of evaporative cooling, air passing through the finely formed water particles gets cooled due to exchange of heat between air and water and fully saturated with water. When connected with duct it draws fresh air from ambient air, cools it and distributes inside the room. Mounting of the unit is very easy. It can be mounted on wall, column, and post or can be suspended from ceiling. Handling capacity of standard Coolair unit is 2500 cfm and evaporating up to about 40 liters of water per hour. Standard ½ HP motor provided in the unit is suitable for 415 V, 3-phase, 50 cycles AC supply.
