Decoiler
Imperial decoiler is used to load heavy duty coils on it and it works as a coil stand. Coils are loaded on the expandable drum of the decoiler or on its outside diameter in case of craddle type decoiler. Centering is done by movement of screw on the front side. The main shaft of EN 8 toughened to withstand heavy loads is mounted on two radial ball bearings and has shoe type brake on it to maintain required tension during decoiling. It is very suitable for small strip thicknesses and strips with high surface finish. The body is made of heavy steel fabrication. It is made in various models and designs to handle coils with maximum widths upto 2000 mm and weight of 20 tonnes.
