Pioneer Industries, situated in Ahmedabad, manufactures polyurethane rubber components that are useful for chemical and mechanical industries. These have higher abrasion resistance and excellent oil and solvent resistance. Very high tensile strength exceeding 34.5 Mpa (5000 psi) and tear strength of 70KN/m (400 pli) is easily obtained. Low temperature brittle points as low as -68 deg C can be achieved. Components made from the polyurethane rubber have high shock/vibration resistance, and ozone and oxygen resistance.
