Sharon Insul India offers Seal Face Insul Coat. This is a self smoothing, two component seamless system with closed cell structure which can be applied on different types of thermal insulation materials to provide a non porosity/non conductivity, dust proof surface with excellent resistance to UV rays, moisture, oil, grease, chemicals, dirt, etc. Why use seal face: the exposed skin of an insulation system applied over a building surface is frequently subjected to thermal shock, such as a drop in temperature after a sudden shower on a sunny day. In addition to possessing low thermal diffusivity, the material should also possess high resilience in order to prevent thermally-activated rupture. Seal Face Insul coat once cured acts as a second protective skin and becomes an integral part of insulation, hence it resists heat transfer to the insulation material and prolongs the life of insulation considerably. Advantages: excellent resistance to UV rays; gives a weather-proof covering; excellent abrasion resistance and impact resistance; gives protection against rains, excessive moisture, corrosive vapours, etc; protects against chemical attack and mould growth; improves the appearance and makes it easy to clean, easy to mix and apply; and seamless coating by brush/roller. Areas of application: it can be applied on air handling system where high abrasion resistance, moisture resistance, dusts free and hygienic conditions are needed, it can be used very effectively in air-condition duct, chill water lines, trench piping etc., when applied in two coats of insul coat with 7 mil reinforcing glass fabric embedded between coats.
