Canopus Instruments offers Non Contact Ultrasonic Evaluation. This is a demonstration set up of our capabilities in the area of Non-Contact Ultrasonic (NCU) Evaluation. This technique promises solutions to several material testing requirements where it is desired that no couplant is applied on the surface of the material under test. NCU evaluation techniques open possibilities in NDE of a variety of materials such as Graphites, Composites, Ceramics, Elastomers, Plastics, Foams, Concrete, Wood, Lumber, dry walls, Food and many more. They are currently working on the development of instrumentation suited for applications of NCU technique.
