Length Comparator, BIS-4031 is used for measuring changes in the length by a diameter gauge graduated to .01 mm. The gauge is mounted rigidly in a measuring frame and has a recessed and which can be located upon a 6.5 mm diameter ball or other reference point in the specimen. This is complete with a stainless steel standardization bar with 6.5 diameter balls mounted in the ends.
