Wiped film evaporator

Dalal Engineering manufactures the wiped film evaporator. This is basically a thin film evaporator and has the following advantages over conventional evaporators: single pass evaporation, very short residence time, ability to handle heat sensitive products using comparatively high jacket temperatures but without thermal degradation, ability to handle viscous products, elimination of problems associated with feed distribution and tube fouling, and simple reliable design requiring minimum maintenance. The company is in a position to supply complete systems incorporating the wiped film evaporator, auxiliary condenser, sub-cooler, receivers for residue and concentrate, vent condenser, vacuum pump, ejector, interconnecting piping, instrumentation, valves, etc.
