Airtech manufactures Diaphragm Chucks (SD/SCD) ideal for grinding machines or light turning work. There are no sliding or wearing parts. These chucks utilise inherent strength of spring action of steel for chucking action. The chucks can be self-contained (SCD) with built-in cylinder or independent where it is required to be coupled via a drawbar to a cylinder mounted on the rear side of the machine spindle.
