Different machines for wire diameters 0.3 to 3.0 mm (SEG-1), 0.3 to 5.0 mm (SEG-3), 2.0 to 8.0 mm (SEG-8) and 3.0 to 12.0 mm (SEG-12) are available. Machines are equipped with crush and downfeed grinding arrangement. Facility of power or current and timer mode in downfeed grinding provides more flexibility for setting and achieving least cycle time and maximum quality. Other features are: infinitely variable speed for downfeed, loading plate and grinding wheels; touch screen HMI for easy operation; cycle run time, production chart for entire week are displayed; air cooling for springs; ball screw controlled downfeed mechanism; motorised vertical movement of bottom grinding wheel and dresser attachment; and optional twin loading plate The machine is well equipped with safety features, viz., limit switches for loading plate, spindle movement, etc., along with software interlocks.
