Thielenhaus Microfinish India Pvt Ltd offers a Microfinishing Machine, Model MicroStar FGH (finishing, grinding and honing). The MicroStar is Thielenhaus's machine platform for flat finishing and flexible process combinations, such as bore grinding, taper grinding, honing and deburring. MicroStars have excellent cycle times and include patented technologies that allow for extremely consistent results. Applications are for highly productive finishing of the following components (among others): fuel injection needles and bodies, sensors, sealing seats, drive train gears and housings, etc. Concept: roundtable with up to 8 stations and machine column in centre; up to 7 units for finishing, grinding and honing (honing units provided by Gehring); and loading/unloading of 1 part parallel to main machining cycle. Advantages: 2 machines in 1 – reduced floor space requirements, fewer operating personnel, lower investment costs for machine and peripheral systems; one chuck – parts are maintained in one chuck throughout finishing, grinding and honing sequence, ensuring that they stay within extremely narrow tolerances; fast cycle times enabled by round table concept; and Reliable process guaranteed by patented force-control and tool-adjustment technology (MicroSens, ToolSens, EasyTilt, etc).
