- High efficiency can be achieved due to wide selection of sizes, hub ratio, number of blades and pitch angle; direct drive or vee belt drive; motor are standard foot mounted of desired degree of protection
- The fan can be run series for higher pressure and in parallel for higher capacity; bifurcated fan design for handling high temperature and corrosive gases; housing is made of steel sheet with angle or flat iron flanges
- Motor or bearing stand is welded to the housing; rotor is of aerofoil profile made from cast aluminium alloy; hub is cast aluminium alloy
- Blades can be adjusted when at rest; shaft is of EN-8 steel; bearings are ball or roller bearings for longer life
