Sant Engineering Industries offers a Single Screw Extruder for various applications. This is a product of 42 years of research and development. The company offers extruders in sizes 25 mm to 150 mm for various materials such as PVC, PE, HDPE, Sioplas, XLPE, nylon, etc. Special features (screw/barrel): screw and barrel are the most important elements of an extruder. These components have been the subject of much research and development, which has resulted in the implementation of grooved barrels perfectly adopted to the multi threaded screw. The screw made of special nitralloy steel nitrided, polished and bored throughout for oil/water cooling. The barrel is also made from nitralloy steel nitrided with mirror polished and honed. Air cooling system on barrel and water cooling at feeder zone is also provided. Bimetallic material is also available on request. Drive/gears: Sant extruders are driven by the AC/DC motors for variable speed. The company provides branded helical gearbox with in-built thrust assembly. Touch screen, PLC based panel, PID based temperature controllers, synchronisation, etc., are all provided by the manufacturer for latest automation as per customers’ requirements.
