N K Engineers is a well known manufacturer of Power Master brand Wire-Rope Hoists. These are offered in seven capacities in the range from 0.5 tonnes to 10 tonnes. These wire-rope hoists are designed in modular construction in accordance with IS 3938. The hoists are sturdy with adequate factor of safety. The frame is all steel fabricated and machined type. The rope drum is made out of sturdy seamless pipe or fabricated from steel plates and is grooved to take the full lift without over winding. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearings, ensuring smooth running. Gears are running on antifriction ball bearing in oil bath lubrication. Motors are crane duty conforming to IS 325. Fail to safety brakes are used, which automatically operate in case of power failure. The steel wire rope is tested to IS 2266 quality and forged hooks conforming to IS 3815 are used. Rope guide prolongs rope life. The hoist is operated through push button station with control voltage of 110 V or 24 V. It is suitable for use in factories, mines and construction sites. Power-Master brand flameproof wire-rope hoists are specially built with flameproof electrical to suite hazardous area conforming to IS 2148. The other optional features available with wire-rope hoists are: micro speed in hoisting, short headroom for max lifting, flexible trolley for curved runways, and customised hoist for high lifts up to 50 mtr.
