Wide Band Diffuser
Airflex Wide Band diffusers are available in PVC plastic. They feature a clog-free design, with oxygen transfer rates of 0.5 to 0.8% per foot of submergence. They have a reliable alpha value and are designed to economically cover the tank floor. These diifusers offer better floor coverage at a more economical price. The air supply is provided by PVC or stainless steel pipes. The headers serve as control for the airflex wide band diffusers, removing the need for separate control, which is typical for other types of wide band diffusers. The bubbles produced by these diffusers are considered medium or coarse. These diffusers are most often applied for low oxygen requirement, biological treatment, and for mixing in aerobic digesters, channels, equalization tanks, grit chambers. Diffusers are available with maximum length of 800 mm long in ¾' NPT end connection. Wide band diffusers can handle air flows from 2 m3/hr to 17 m3/hr.
