Welding Alloy (Corodur 61 Wire)
CORODUR 61 is a flux cored wire especially designed to resist extreme abrasion, The alloy contains very high percentage of C-Cr and Nb has a ledeburitic matrix containing complex carbides. Its superior weldability coupled with a slag-free deposit makes it an extremely welder friendly alloy. For best results 2 layers with a maximum 8 mm thickness is recommended. Hardness is 63-65 RC. It is an ideal alloy designed especially for hard-facing of coal mining equipment, cement and other mineral based industries. CORODUR 61 is available in 1.6, 2, 2.4, 2.8 mm in 15, 30 and 300 kg spools.
