Prism Control Gear Private Limited has designed a range of Vent Plugs that keep out moisture and prevent condensation. Prism vent plugs allow sealed, heat producing panels and fixtures to breathe while keeping out moisture and preventing condensation. These vent plugs allow moisture to diffuse through the micro porous membrane preventing water ingress and condensation from forming on the inside of the enclosure/light fitting. Condensation is more damaging because it remains on the surface of components and contacts, leading to corrosion; it also leads to degradation of lenses in solar energy applications. Prism vent plugs, help equalise pressure, allowing passage of air. These vent plugs also prevent ingress of insects, dust, salt, sand, etc., which are frequently responsible for damage to internal components. They provide IP67 protection. The pressure equalisation also reduces temperatures, which increases the life of internal components like chokes, drivers, electrical and electronic components. They are available in 2 sizes of M12 x 1.5 and M20 x 1.5 mm for screw in fitment.
