Micro Machine Tools Corporation offers a Universal Milling Machine, UM110. It has an all geared vertical turret head and a separate horizontal spindle. The machine has a table of 1230 x 260 mm. The vertical milling head, with spindle taper ISO 40, has a 1.5 kW drive and can be operated vertically, horizontally or at any other angle. It has an automatic quill travel of 125 mm. The separate horizontal spindle has a 2.2 kW motor for horizontal milling operations and has spindle taper of ISO 40. This is a unique feature not provided in standard turret mills. The machine is also equipped with X axis gear power feed and coolant pump and other items like, milling vice, milling chuck, collects, reducing sockets, horizontal arbours, etc., as standard accessories. The machine is made from Meehanite castings with hardened and ground guideways and table. It can be additionally equipped with 2/3 axes DRO. The machine is ideal for die and mould makers and precision workshops.
