Shamam Engineering Industries has introduced a series of light duty/heavy duty mechanically operated Tube Bending Machines for various applications like furniture, two wheeler accessories, decorative items, automotive seat, frames, crash guards, hydraulic piping, and chemical and process tubes and heat exchanger concentric tubes. These machines are very compact and robust in design and useful for mass production (1600 to 1800 bends/shift). Specifications, Model SHM 20: tube OD x thickness – 26 x 3 mm; stainless steel 316 ferrous material; UTS 45 kg/mm2; bend centre line radius – 28 to 550 mm; higher radius – on request; bend centre line radius to OD of tube ration – 2D; bend angle – 0 to 180º (degrees); bending speed – 4 RPM; bending direction – clockwise and anti-clockwise; bend accuracy – ±0.25º; tube indexing – manual; tube positioning – with suitable fixturing; length setting – with mechanical stopper; tube holding controls – manual or vice, semi automatic with dog setting for angle; production rate (approx) – 1600 bends/shift; weight – 500 kg approx; size – 700 W x 600 D x 1000 H; and power – 2 HP.
