Jaycee Technologies offers new noiseless self-adjusting tracking radar for solids bins/silos from ABM Sensor Technology, Canada. These are very low cost pulse radar probes for 10 mtrs to 73 mtrs measuring ranges. This revolutionary design offers very low noise performance, which is due to operation of the receiver that is activated by incoming echoes from wanted targets. ABM radar probe adjusts microwave pulse amplitude and its width to a target distance and target reflection properties. The receiver changes its sensitivity with amplitude of received echoes. In addition to that, the unit also analyses the shapes of the received echoes and eliminates the ones coming from walls, standpipes and other obstructions. These features allow AMB radar to track any wanted target from the top of the antenna down to bottom of any shape of storage bins and environment conditions. ABM radar does not have any mismatch between resonator and transceiver. This eliminates problems when a target is close to antenna and gives optimal performance of the radar. User interface of ABM radar is very simple and does not require any manuals. It features PLC compatible (Modbus RTU) RS232/RS485 for communication with diagnostic, data logging, and calibration software.
