TRAC Module
The TRAC Module is a cutting edge GSM/GPRS based vehicle mount tracking module with an integral GPS system and a powerful microprocessor. The module functions using SMS commands/ GPRS based Internet enabling. The module is of compact rugged design, which is ideal for extreme environmental conditions, and its universal serial connection to allow the modem to connect to virtually any device with a serial port. It is a transportation system that will rely heavily on several vehicle communication systems including peer-to-peer and peer-to-base station communications. The modem (GSM/GPRS - quad band) operates on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequency ranges. Drivers can roam between their cellular phone network and their in-vehicle network. Data access and synchronization happen automatically and transparently.
